Twitter 

I have never used Twitter much. I don’t believe that Twitter is particularly helpful to me because content is not verified so it is not always accurate. I do, however, see that it could be beneficial to connect to people and groups to find and share information. Because of this, twitter could be useful in my future career to find people and groups that could help me with questions that I have or to share information with a large group of people. 

 

Digital Divide 

Because technology can be such a powerful tool for school, work, and social life, having this initial divide makes it so some people don’t have as many skills and knowledge of how to use these powerful tools. Without these skills, they won't be able to use them as effectively or receive as many of the benefits that come with them. One of the causes of this digital divide is unequal access to technology because of monetary restraints, meaning some people don’t have the money to get these tools. Because of this divide, teachers must be conscious about students' access to technology and help students find resources to complete assignments and know how to use them. 

 

Academic Software 

Academic software can be a powerful tool for students in their learning. One of the academic software that I would like to include in my future classroom is google classrooms. This would allow for an online space for the class to meet and share information. Another is Hello Parent. Communication with parents in very important to ensure that you are doing the best to teach your students and to Better understand their needs.
