Blog Journal #6

 Diigo

I think that Diego is a very interesting concept. I think that it could drive as an excellent way for educators to share articles and information and provide feedback with each other. I also like how these articles can be sorted by using tags, so it is easier to find information related to what you are looking for. My initial experience with Diego was good so I don’t have anything negative to say about it.

Blogging Process

I think one of the positive aspects of blogging is that you can take what you have learned or feel and put it into words. This helps to solidify your knowledge and to better understand your opinions and feelings on things.I don’t like the idea of it being a public blog that other people can read, however, because most of the things that I write about wouldn’t be helpful except for the blogs where I am explaining a concept that I just learned. Other than that, though, I think blogging can be helpful process, and depending on what you are writing about it can be a great way to share information.

Web 2.0 Tool: Adventr

One interesting Web 2.0 tool that I found was Adventr. Adventr a program that allows you to make interactive videos. This is something that I could use to supplement class instruction by allowing students to navigate where they want to go in the video first and what they want to learn first. It looks like a high-quality tool and one that educators can use to make learning more of an active process for students, either inside the classroom for lessons or outside of the classroom saw supplemental material.
